ESR’s New 25W MagSafe Charging Lineup Has Active Cooling Built in

CryoBoost promises 25W wireless charging without throttling

ESR has been consistently building out one of the more comprehensive MagSafe accessory ecosystems on the market, and its latest round of additions lean hard into active cooling to keep charging speeds where they should be. The lineup covers three distinct use cases, a 3-in-1 desk charger, a foldable travel version of the same, and a car mount, all built around the company’s CryoBoost cooling system that uses a compact fan to stop your phone from getting too warm and throttling its charge rate mid-session.

The CryoBoost 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station is your desktop option, combining iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch charging into a single vertical stand. It uses a 1,200g magnetic hold to keep your phone locked in place for StandBy mode, and comes with a detachable Apple-certified watch charger that doubles as a standalone USB-C puck for travel. ESR bundles a 50W power adapter in the box too, which should be up for charging a MacBook. It’s basically the complete Apple ecosystem for $99.99.

For anyone looking to take their charging with them, the CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station offers the same core feature set but folds down to roughly the size of a deck of cards. Same 25W Qi2.2 charging, same CryoBoost cooling, same integrated Apple Watch charger, same price at $99.99.

Then there’s the OmniLock Magnetic Car Charger, which brings the same 25W CryoBoost charging to an air vent mount. ESR has gone with a reinforced aluminium hook and silicone stabiliser pad here, along with an overtightening protection nut. It includes a 58W dual-port car adapter and USB-C cable in the box for $69.99/£56.99, so there’s nothing extra to buy.

It’s worth noting that the 25W top speed is reserved for a limited set of phones including the iPhone 17 series and Samsung’s S26 Ultra. Older iPhones and other devices step down to 20W or 15W depending on the model, so it’s worth checking where your particular phone lands before getting too excited about the headline numbers. All three products are available now through Amazon US, with UK availability on the way.
