Founded in 2013, HATOR grew up alongside the esports scene, working with professional teams to shape its hardware. It’s an established name in parts of Europe, but until now UK buyers have largely had to import its gear. It’s finally landed properly on UK shores and plans to grow its global distribution through 2027.
It’s just a single board to start: the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Wireless, a magnetic switch keyboard available in 65% and 80% sizes. HATOR’s own Aurum Ice magnetic switches allow for adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger, alongside the usual extras like Dynamic Keystroke and Snap Key. Polling runs at up to 8000Hz both wired and over 2.4GHz, with Bluetooth 5.3 also on offer.
Elsewhere, the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K gets a gasket mount design, hot-swappable switches, double-shot PBT keycaps, a media knob and a small TFT screen. HATOR quotes up to 24 hours of battery life with the lighting on and over 500 hours with it off. Software runs through a browser-based configurator, with no account required and no telemetry collected, which is a refreshing change.
The HATOR Skyfall 65 MAG Ultima 8K Wireless costs £84.99 with the Skyfall 80 MAG Ultima 8K Wireless rising to £94.99, both are available to order in the UK now from HATOR’s website.
