Developed in collaboration with the FPS training platform and finished in its signature cyan colourway, the GameSir G7 Pro 8K controller is an officially licensed Aimlabs accessory. It’s a PC-only affair, which narrows the audience but sharpens the focus. Everything under the shell has been specced with competitive shooters in mind, from the inputs to the internal hardware.
GameSir’s second-generation Mag-Res TMR sticks sit at the centre of the design. These use magnetic sensing rather than physical contact to register stick position, which should mean no drift over time, smoother linear response, and lower power draw compared to the first-gen version. The triggers offer a dual-mode system, letting players swap between Hall Effect analog input for graduated throttle control and clicky micro switch actuation for instant binary response. It’s a setup that lets the same controller flex between genres without needing a separate profile or a different pad entirely.
The face buttons use optical micro switches for fast actuation, and the D-pad gets mechanical micro switches for crisp directional input. Four remappable macro buttons round out the inputs, split between two lockable back buttons and two mini bumpers, each supporting up to 32-step macro recording. The back button latches are a nice practical touch, letting players disable the rear inputs entirely to avoid accidental presses mid-match.
A built-in 6-axis gyroscope adds motion aiming support for compatible titles, and dual asymmetric rumble motors in the grips handle haptic feedback. GameSir says these use an instant start-stop circuit for sharper, more precise vibration response. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack that works across both wired and wireless modes, a 1200mAh battery, and a charging station included in the box.
The controller uses a three-piece magnetic faceplate system that’s backwards-compatible with existing G7 series plates, so anyone already invested in that ecosystem can carry their collection over.
The GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Aimlabs Edition is available now for £89.99 from the GameSir website and Amazon UK.
