AndaSeat Just Launched Its First Electric Standing Desk

I guess it's chairs AndaDesk now too.

The clue has been in the name the entire time, AndaSeat makes gaming chairs. Pretty decent ones too, actually. But while it’s built a solid reputation when it comes to keeping backsides comfortable, now it’s setting sights a little higher. Literally.

The AndaSeat Xtreme Series marks the brand’s first foray into electric standing desks, taking on the likes of Secretlab and Autonomous. It’s a bold but logical move, because after all, there’s no point having something to sit on if you don’t have anything to sit at.

The AndaSeat Xtreme Series arrives in two desktop sizes: a 1.2-metre option and a larger 1.4-metre variant, both measuring 750mm deep. Pretty normal stuff and in line with what we’ve seen from other brands. Height adjustment spans from 730mm to 1170mm, which should accommodate most users whether they prefer to sit, stand, or switch between the two throughout the day. It’s just single motor so won’t compete with the lifting power of the likes of the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro, but maximum load capacity still sits at a respectable 70kg (155 lbs).

Styling is paired back with no gamer flourish and you’re given the choice of two colour options at launch: Matte Black and Arctic White. Both use MDF worktops with a matte laminate finish that promises anti-glare and scratch-resistant properties. As is becoming the norm, power is built into the leg and it offers a separate socket at the top too. There’s no fancy cable management here though, just a classic metal tray bolted to the underside.

A three-digit LED control panel handles the basics, offering three memory presets and a sedentary reminder that can be set between 30 minutes and four hours. There’s also an anti-collision system and child lock for households where curious little fingers might otherwise turn your desk into an impromptu lift.

pricing and availability

The AndaSeat Xtreme Series starts from $399 in the US, where it’s currently available for preorder exclusively through AndaSeat’s website. It’s also worth noting that colour options are limited at launch: the smaller 1200mm desktop only comes in Matte Black, while the larger 1400mm variant offers both Matte Black and Arctic White.

No word yet on UK availability or pricing, though given AndaSeat’s established presence on these shores, it shouldn’t be too long before it lands on the UK store too.
