The NACON Revolution X Unlimited Anniversary Edition takes design cues from both the Xbox 360 console and its controller, blending the highlights from both together and wrapping them around NACON’s flagship controller that launched back in mid-2025. We’re currently putting the standard black Revolution X Unlimited through its paces for a full review, and the underlying tech here is identical, just with a healthy dose of nostalgia splashed on top.
That means you’re getting Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, Omron micro-switches on the action buttons, D-pad, and triggers for that satisfying, responsive click, and more customisable buttons than you knew was possible to sneak onto the back of a controller.
The Revolution X Unlimited features three connectivity options, wireless via the included dongle, Bluetooth, and wired, along with a small LCD screen built into the controller face for tweaking profiles and audio settings on the fly. Swappable joystick heads, zoned haptic feedback, additional weights, and a companion PC app round out the customisation options. Battery life sits at a claimed ten-plus hours, which should comfortably cover most gaming sessions.
The NACON Revolution X Unlimited – Anniversary Edition is available now from NACON’s website and select retailers, priced at £179.90 in the UK. That’s a premium ask, but it’s the limited edition livery won’t cost you any more than the standard black variant and for a controller packing this much tech and this much nostalgic charm, it might just be worth it for the right buyer.
